Birds, Bugs and Beats in Glasgow

In an urban housing estate on the outskirts of Glasgow birds, bugs and beats are coming together for the first time...

Beatroute Arts in Balornock have taken on the challenge of transforming their urban garden into a haven for wild creatures and beasties, in order to support the eco system. The centre provides music and arts based activities for 8-25 year-olds and adult groups, with the hope of enriching local people's lives and providing new opportunities.

First up young people have been getting well and truly stuck in building bird boxes and a bug hotel...

As well as plenty of planting, painting, weeding & watering!
