Grow Wild flagship Tale of Two Cities at Manchester Carnival

On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August, Alexandra Park was jumping with Manchester Carnival in full swing! Grow Wild's flagship project Tale of Two Cities was there in full force with their wild flower headdresses, giving away free native wild flower seeds! and a wild flower map of the city. Here’s Grow Wild’s Richard Pollard, Partnership Manager for England, looking particularly glam…

Probably inspired by Richard’s fantastic look, everyone got into the flower headdress making workshop…

Alexandra Park was looking absolutely incredible, with thousands of wild flowers in bloom, attracting bees and all kinds of other insects and wild life. Looking amazing and glittery Hayley and Neive posed for a snap for us with just some of the flowers! Thanks girls!

There was dancing, partying and awesome energy all through the weekend – and the sun shine definitely helped get everyone in the spirit of the carnival! We wouldn’t expect anything less from Manchester!

Thanks to everyone who came along!
