Changing Landscapes at Darnhill Summer Festival

Young people in Darnhill will plant a wildflower patch on the estate. We will also spark the public imagination through creative activities, workshops and events at a community festival - culminating in an exhibition.

The wildflower patch will be located within the greenspace, just behind Darnhill Library.
The community festival on Saturday 6th July from 12pm, will take place in and around the library, Argyle Parade and greenspace - all welcome :)
The exhibition will take place at Heywood Sports Village, West Starkey Street, Heywood, OL10 4TW for six weeks, over the summer (dates tbc)

Please contact Lucy on 01706 361300 or [email protected]. We have a range of volunteering opportunities, from environmental to creative / arts activities, volunteering on the festival day or helping with the exhibition.

All are welcome to attend the Darnhill community festival on Saturday 6th July from 12pm - we'll be giving away free packs of wildflower seeds, hope to see you there!
