Go Wild at Castlebank Park
We are creating a 'Wildflower and Tree Guide' to promote specimen trees and wildflowers within Castlebank Park. This project will also include botanical artwork sessions and wildflower workshops.
Castlebank Horticultural Centre is located within Castlebank Park in Lanark. Since 2012, we have been working to restore this jewel in Lanark's crown. Our aim is for the Castlebank Horticultural Centre to become an educational and training asset for the local community. Castlebank Park is now 1 of Scotland’s 71 Green Flag Parks and as well as welcoming visitors all year round, plays hosts to large-scale community events.
Our open volunteering days are currently Tuesdays and Thursdays. Anyone in the community is welcome to volunteer at Castlebank Horticultural Centre helping out with a range of gardening and environmental activities for all abilities. No experience necessary. Please get in touch for more information!
