A cross community and intergenerational project, that promotes a sign posted walking route within a Waterside area of Derry /Londonderry.

This project has 3 main sites, Somme Park (Clanmil HA), Clondermott Park (Apex HA), and Gelvin Gardens, Trench Road (Habinteg HA). We are also working with the community centres at Hillcrest House & Irish Street. The walking route takes in parts of Irish Street, Trench Road, Irish Street (walking in one large loop, with smaller loops depending on the walkers fitness).

Volunteering opportunities / Upcoming events

The partners will run a series of workshops, with residents and community groups, to connect with nature and identify important species native to the area and Northern Ireland. We will also work with local people to design the markers for the trail.Please contact us for information.
