Shamrock, Rose & Thistle Seisun: Saving Seeds of Knowledge
Through a series of community music sessions and engaging with local people the project is exploring, performing and collating songs, stories & poems to produce and publish a booklet on native wildflowers/plants.
The project takes place at The Keady Clachan venue during The Shamrock Rose & Thistle Traditional Music, Singing and Storytelling sessions consisting of 5 workshops: 4 workshops taking place on 3rd March, 7th April , 5th May, 2nd June, 6.30pm-9.30 pm followed by a celebration and launch of the booklet (workshop 5) in September at the local Eddie Butcher Traditional Singing Festival. Everyone welcome.
The Shamrock Rose and Thistle Seisun Saving the Seeds of Knowledge project allows us to promote and recruit more volunteers to join the crew. An extra pair of hands is always welcome to serve the tea!
