We are responding to the needs of our community whilst caring for our natural environment by using re-cycled materials when possible to create a quiet, accessible wild life area with pond, raised beds and sensory area.

Our project, in the grounds of a newly built multi-purpose church community centre, is located on Compton Road in the village of Skewen. A warm welcome awaits everyone at 'Ty Santes Fair' as our building is accessible to people of all abilities on a level plot of land. Pop in to our Drop in Café 10:30am Tuesdays.

Volunteering opportunities / Upcoming events

We are looking forward to working with all age groups from our community - watch this space for updates of both event and more volunteer opportunities. Currently a Men's group meet on-site 10am on a Monday morning. A volunteer is making the table clothes from re-cycled curtain materials ready for summer events at the centre a strawberry tea in July and fete August 17th.

We, children and adults planted bulbs in a raised bed that had been made by the volunteer Men's group out of the reclaimed wooden trusses. 21/09/2019 - 15:00 13 Mostly families or children under 12
An enjoyable Grow Wild funded community coffee morning attended by the local NPT Community Co-ordinator donations in aid of Macmillan. 21/09/2019 - 10:00 52 Mostly adults 25+
