Transplanted: Discovering Scottish Plant Life Through Music
Transplanted encourages young people to connect with Scottish plant life, taking inspiration from plants found in local green spaces to create new pieces of music, which will be performed by professional musicians.
These are closed events for students at specific secondary schools in urban areas throughout Scotland, with the first event taking place in Glasgow.
Transplanted begins on Thursday, 13th June, with workshops at Lochend High School and Seven Lochs Wetland Park. On the 14th, the duo will then take the project to students at Shawlands Academy and the Hidden Gardens in Glasgow. Then on September 3rd we're going up to Dundee, to Baldragon Academy and Ninewells Hospital Community Garden. Finally, on September 4th, we're heading down to Grangemouth High School and Jupiter Urban Wildlife Space.
