Wild 25 : Sharing the word on native wild flowers
As part of our 25th Anniversary we are showcasing how our staff, volunteers and wider local community work together to promote and care for native wild flowers. Join us for a Summer full of fun and colour at The Botanics
Inverness Botanic Gardens is open 7 days a week all year round. Our tropical house is bursting with exotic and familiar plants and pond where koi fish keep visitors entertained. Our cactus house is one of the largest dedicated spaces for cacti and succulents in Scotland. Outside we have formal and informal planting, quiet corners and plants for sale. At our GROW project trainees create and maintain fruit, vegetables and wild flower beds. ENJOY.
Our loyal group of volunteers are constantly looking at ways to "share the word on native wild flowers".
They are sorting out the plants we to make them available to local groups and volunteers for planting this autumn.
Saturday 22nd September Wild 25 Storytelling event for everyone - activities and fables for all. 2-4pm. Please book.
Wednesday 17th October Final celebration and mystery guest!
