How are we doing so far?
To learn more about the impact of sharing our seed kits, Grow Wild commissioned an independent evaluation by Forest Research. They used the New Economics Foundation’s ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ to look at how Grow Wild has helped people to:
Make connections to the natural world, other people around them and their communities.
Become active by doing something positive outdoors
Take notice of beautiful and inspirational things in their neighbourhoods and of new opportunities
Keep learning about nature and community
Share resources, time, enthusiasm and knowledge
We conducted online surveys among people who received our seed packets in 2014 and 2015. A high percentage of people responded – about 20% - meaning Forest Research were able to draw some very interesting conclusions…
