Visit our 7.5 acre nature reserve which is a wonderful year round haven for wildlife, with meadows, woodlands, ponds and glades. A great place for children to picnic, play and explore!

The Centre is located at the end of Byng Road. Tube: Northern line to High Barnet (20min walk) Buses: 384 to Wentworth Rd (20min walk), 326, 383, 324 to rear of Spires (10 min walk), 263,107,307 to Wood St. (10 min walk), 184 to St John’s church (15 min walk). The Centre building and garden are suitable for wheelchairs. Not all the paths are suitable, but access is possible to a dipping pond. Contact the centre to check visiting times.

Volunteering opportunities / Upcoming events

We have many opportunities for volunteering on the nature reserve, helping with open days, administrative tasks and preparing for school visits. We hold monthly volunteering sessions on Sunday mornings and also Saturday afternoons (summer only) and also have weekly volunteering sessions on Monday afternoons (except Bank Holidays).
