Everybody can enjoy our field. Our site is situated on Mill Lane, Walney, LA14 3XX opposite the fire station. There is a lay-by opposite the gate where you can park. Look out for our Walney Community Growing Space and information sign. The site is open to public on weekly volunteer days and events.

Volunteering opportunities / Upcoming events

Meeting every Friday on Walney Community Growing Space. Everybody welcome. Get involved in community gardening, planting and practical work. Learn new skills, make new friends. Free refreshments provided.

Go wild on Walney and join us on our Wild Wednesdays! A summer of free family outdoor nature activities every week to immerse yourselves in our local wildlife. Please contact to book your place.
