Glasgow's Flower Power
Since World War II the UK has lost 97% of its wildflower meadows; a strikingly beautiful habitat which is essential for our bees and butterflies. With the help of volunteers, we are attempting to reverse this decline.
You can stop by the wildflower nursery anytime; to help out or to have a nosey. We host a 6 months program of Tuesday and Saturday volunteering dates, 10 - 12.30pm. All tools & gloves provided, with tea & coffee.
If you would like to be involved in any aspect of the project; from sowing tiny seeds to planting entire meadows; please visit the Countryside Rangers office, call 01412760924 or e-mail [email protected]
